KEY INFORMATION | ||
Heading | Notes | |
When to reset? | A fuse only needs to be replaced when it has blown. Most often, a fuse reset is all that is required. This process involves removing the fuse for 30 seconds and putting the same fuse back in.
When to replace? | There are 3 ways to know a fuse has blown and needs replacement.
As pictured below, left is a normal fuse, middle and right are blown and need replacement. |

Fuse Reset | ||
May require:
| ||
Step | Instruction | Photo |
1 | Locate the fuse box | |
2 | Remove the clear cover on the fuse box using the clips, but keep the white plastic fuse gripper attached to the cover (use fingers if missing)
3 | Using the labels, find the fuse that you are resetting.
4 | When the fuse is extracted, there may be a small spark and/or clicking noise. This is perfectly normal and safe. In one, confident motion, use the plastic fuse gripper* to extract the fuse directly outward from the fuse box. Keep the fuse in the gripper. Note*: To use the fuse gripper, you will need to slide the gripper around the head of the fuse before being able to extract it. If missing, use fingers.
5 | Wait 30 seconds. | |
6 | Insert the same fuse still in your gripper/hands back into the same fuse slot from which you extracted.
7 | For water heater and dryer resets, it is normal for the temperature to take 5-10 mins to return.
8 | If the issue persists, submit an incident report.

6 | Extract one of the spare fuses (shown perpendicular to the active fuses or take from the spare fuses box). Ensure the fuse is the same colour as the blown fuse.

8 | Put the cover of the fuse box back on and return to the display.
9 | Return to the display and clear any error codes and press the button for the relevant part to turn it back on.
