Thank you for your feedback
It's important that our Orange Sky vans remain roadworthy and all damage is reported. We have insurance coverage but can only process claims and keep our vans looking as tidy as possible if things are properly reported in a timely manner. If you have found damage to an Orange Sky van or damage to the van has occurred while in your possession, please follow the below processes.
Damage that occurred while on shift
- If damage occurs to the van while on shift please call Service Support immediately.
- If another vehicle is involved in the crash make record of as much important information as possible as this will assist insurance claims and any police investigation required (ie. make, model, colour, registration number, location, date, time, damage caused).
- Damage that may affect roadworthiness and therefore the van being driveable includes: windscreen chips/cracks, bald/damaged tyres, lights/indicators not working, side mirrors missing/not working and more. Do not drive the vehicle before calling Service Support if any of these issues are present.
- When submitting an incident report please attach pictures of the damage to assist with assessment. Always take as many photos as needed to clearly make out the damage.
Damage found post incident
- On arrival to van base it is important to complete a visual check of the Orange Sky vehicle prior to driving to shift as part of the pre-start check.
- If during the visual check damage to the vehicle is identified please notify the operations team by contacting Service Support. All new damage should be reported, if in doubt, report it.
