WHS Policy
At Orange Sky we are committed to positively connecting communities while ensuring the safety & wellbeing of everyone involved, including employees, volunteers, contractors, friends and remote residents. Each day we work to reduce the impact of incidents, and comply with all applicable WHS laws.
Our Orange Sky Person Characteristics guide our actions and behaviours. Through a safety lens, they mean:
Believes in What We Do: Operating safely is fundamental to living our mission and strengthening our impact.
Cultivates Connection: We build authentic relationships and always look out for each other.
Walks the Walk: We manage our own energy and wellbeing and put psychological and physical safety first.
Gives Things a Crack: We encourage safety initiatives and take calculated risks.
Strives to Improve: We continuously enhance and refine our safety processes.
Celebrates Success: We recognise safety achievements and positive outcomes.
By embracing these characteristics and principles, we create an environment where safety and wellbeing are prioritised, and everyone feels supported and empowered to contribute to a positive safety culture.
