New volunteer welcome to shift (AU) email template

The below email template can be used by Team Leaders to welcome new volunteers to their shift.

Hi <NAME>

Firstly thank you so much for offering to volunteer with Orange Sky and welcome to the team! It's so great to have you on board.

My name is <NAME> and I am the team leader for the <SHIFT NAME>.

Your first shift will be <DATE>, if this suits you?  Let's meet at <ADDRESS>.

<PARKING> <PUBLIC TRANSPORT INSTRUCTIONS>

Orange Sky HQ will send your t-shirt and hoodie in the next few weeks, so for your first shift just wear casual clothes and closed shoes.

The team communicates via WhatsApp Messenger, if you don't have the application can you please download it so I can add you to the team chat. I generally send a confirmation WhatsApp message to the team a couple of days before each shift; if you could reply and confirm that you're coming that would be great

You can view your rostered shifts in Volaby under My rosters and set your availability for future shifts using the 'Availability Centre' which can be found on the top right corner of your Volaby screen. For instructions on how to set your availabilities click here.
