SERVICE SUPPORT RESOURCE HUB
The purpose of this hub is for volunteers to self-service the most common issues experienced on shift. If the issue you are experiencing is not listed below, or you don't feel comfortable to troubleshoot, please call Service Support. 



WARU DRYERS - COMMON ERRORS & SMOKING

PLUMBING - CLEAN & WASTE WATER 

  • If water is flowing under the van - click here
  • If there is no water in the washing machines or shower, head to the Clean Water Troubleshooting steps here or jump straight to the most common error code list here
  • For issues with the waste tank not emptying, head to the Waste Pump Not Working troubleshooting steps here. If you cannot resolve the issue on shift, follow the instructions to manually empty the waste tank here


WASHING MACHINE - COMMON ERRORS & ISSUES

  • If there is an error code on the screen - click here.
  • If the washing cycle is stuck or slow, monitor for 10 mins and then kill the cycle. Click here or refer to the Operation Cards for instructions. 
  • If the washing machine is leaking:
    • from the door, massage the seal back into place and continue operation. 
    • from behind, contact Service Support. 

HOT WATER SYSTEM - COMMON ERRORS

  • If the red LED water heater light is flashing you will need to perform a reset. Click here for the instructions.
  • Tip: make sure to allow 5 mins for the water heater to fully heat.
  • Burner error codes - It is important to note that the only on-shift fix for a burner error is a fuse reset or replacement. Volunteers should not complete the steps located in Webasto Burner Error Codes.

DETERGENT PUMP (BRIGHTWELL) ISSUES

  • Check the detergent drum is at least 1/2 full and the pumps are turned on and plugged in.

  • If there are air bubbles in the tubes, click here for instructions on priming the pumps. 
  • If there are excessive suds, the pumps may be overdosing. Refer to the Brightwell Pumps Troubleshooting guide here 

POWER SYSTEM ISSUES 

  • Ensure the system is correctly turned on at the RedVision control panel. Click here.
  • If the battery is 10% or below, either turn on the engine or plug into mains power. To see if it is charging, check the display screen and ensure the arrow next to the battery is now illuminated green and pointing upward.

GENERAL ASSET ISSUES

  • Where is van base // what is the lockbox code? Click here and select your service location. 
  • How do I call Roadside Assistance for general vehicle issues? Call Service Support. 
  • Vehicle weight; can I carry water or a passenger? Teams can choose to carry either a passenger or water. 
  • Hybrid sliding side door won’t open? The Hybrid Van Mercedes sliding doors have a locking pin at both ends of the door. Sometimes the rear of the door has to be pushed in to reset the locking mechanism before the door can be unlocked and opened.
