Troubleshooting Guide (TG)
SAFETY CALLOUTS Consider the below callouts when guiding a volunteer through the instructions |
Ensure no one is in the shower area before opening the rear doors to inspect the water heater's red/orange light. |
Do not remove the cap from the hot water system when hot and do not touch the hot water system when in operation as it may burn. |
POSSIBLE REASONS FOR CALL |
- No hot water in the shower
- Water heater red/orange light is flashing

TROUBLESHOOTING |
Step 1: Identify the issue |
If no, | Then |
Has the water heater been switched on for longer than 5 minutes? | Wait for 5 mins for the heater to warm the water. |
Is there water? | TG: Clean Water System |
Is the electrical system switched on? | Press the power icon on the display once to turn on the electrical system. |
Is the display free from faults? | SIG: Check the display for faults |
Is the water heater red/orange light on and not flashing? | SIG: Hot water error codes |
Step 2: Communicate next steps to volunteer |
Diagnostic complete, the issue cannot be resolved on shift. You will need to either - Continue with cold showers only
- No showers - washing & drying only
