LG Washing Machine Error Codes

SUMMARY

The following guide contains error codes which will appear on the washing machine display panel when errors occur during washing. Find below each error troubleshooting methods and actions for each error type.

Error IE - Inlet error. No water to washing machines.

• If connected to tap, confirm that the tap is turned on and that pressure can be felt in the hose. Ensure that the hose is not kinked,

• If running from tank water, ensure that there is sufficient water in the clean water tank.

• Refer to the van operations cards to ensure that the correct switches are activated on the vans control box.
  For Upgraded Vans / Redarc System: Ensure correct buttons are turned 'green' to run from tanks or connected to mains. See Van Operations Cards here

• Submit an incident report for this issue to be escalated to a Richard Jay technician.

Error OE - Outlet error. Water not draining from the washing machine.

• Press 'start' on the washing machine to attempt to resume the cycle. If cycle is unable to be resumed, perform a kill cycle.
• Submit an incident report for this issue to be escalated to a Richard Jay technician.

Error dE - Door error. Joint information with Lock error below…

Error LE - Lock Error.

• Hold the washer door shut with pressure whilst pressing start on the cycle. This will often resolve the issue.
• Submit an incident report for this issue to be escalated to a Richard Jay technician.

Error UE - Unbalanced Error.

• Can occur when washing large loads (particularly heavy bedding and sleeping bags.
• When error occurs, open door, redistribute washing, close door and press start.
• If error reoccurs, load may be too large for the machine and need to be distributed between 2 cycles.

Error SUD - Too much SUDS.

• Usually occurs around 15min to go mark.

• Will often go away over time. Usually occurs due too many cancelled cycles.

Error ALE - Emergency Stop Button Activated

For 15kg Giant C washer (Remote Vans) only

• When the emergency red button on the top right of the machine is pulled out.

• Press red button in to clear error code.

Error FE - Water is Overflowing

• When water level is overflowing.
• Submit an incident report for this issue to be escalated to a Richard Jay technician.
