How much washing can we fit in the Orange Sky washing machines?

The maximum load for our washing machines is a whopping 10 kg!

Remember though - the heavier the load, the longer the wash time, as the machines will require additional balancing as it adds water.

A little trick from Dan, one of our HQ legends:

"I learnt on shift that you should always try and load the machine up to the outward silver curve at the back of the machine/drum. I don't have a picture handy, but essentially the machines are full once you can't see the back of the machines."

The washers can take some larger blankets and doonas, just be careful not to overload as the machine will get stuck and cycle won't be able to finish if the machine is overloaded.
