SAFETY CALLOUTS

Wastewater is a biohazard. Wear gloves to protect your hands and ensure your body is far away from the port when opening to avoid any water from splashing onto your body.

Ensure that the hose is attached to the drainage port before releasing the water.

Ensure you do not enter an active road to access the drainage port.

Safe disposal of water

Waste water must be disposed of in a suitable waste point. Do not dispose of waste water onto a road or garden.

Angle of vehicle

This method relies on gravity and is therefore affected by the angle of the vehicle. The rear of the vehicle should be lower than the front of the vehicle.

INSTRUCTIONS

LV Manual Waste Tank Drain

May require:

  • Gloves
  • Spare waste hose
  • Hose connector/adapter

Ensure the vehicle is in a suitable location to drain waste water.

Locate the drainage valve on the waste water tank (driver’s side of the vehicle.)

Attach the green waste extension hose or other suitable extension hose to the valve. Place the hose in the waste drain point. 

4

Twist the drainage valve 90 degrees and leave it open until water has stopped flowing for 30 seconds. Close the valve when finished.

HV Manual Waste Tank Drain

Ensure the vehicle is in a suitable location to drain waste water.

Locate the drainage valve on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

Note: the valve is hidden underneath the van so you may need to get on your hands & knees to find it.

Attach the green waste hose or other suitable extension hose to the valve. Place the hose in the waste drain point. 

4

Twist the drainage valve 90 degrees and leave it open until water has stopped flowing for 30 seconds. Close the valve when finished.
