Access to the detergent pumps may involve being in small spaces and requires twisting. It is not suitable for people with known conditions/injuries to perform. Ensure you have at least three points of contact with the vehicle at all times and only.

What is priming?

Priming the pump pushes detergent through the detergent tubes and into the washing machines, ensuring the tubes are full.

Using the display unit.

There may be multiple detergent pumps in the asset. If unsure which pump connects to which machine, prime all pumps.

There are bubbles in the detergent tubes.

Air bubbles or gaps between detergent in the tubes is perfectly normal and does not affect the operation or quantity of detergent being dispensed.

Go to the display of the pump being primed.

Press the top right button.

Once the display reads ‘PRIME MODE CHOOSE PUMP’.


If there is only one pump in the vehicle/pod with a display, skip to step 4.


If there is only one pump in the vehicle/pod with a display, you can use the up (+) and down (-) arrow buttons to select which pump you wish to prime. 


Pump 1 = Washer 1

Pump 2 = Washer 2

Pump 3 = Washer 3

Hold down the button in the centre of the arrow keypad for 8 seconds.

Resume the washing machines and if the issue persists, submit an incident report.

Note*: there can be excess suds after priming the pump for the first 1-2 cycles.
