What do I need to do if I need to leave a shift early?

We pack up and leave shift in the following circumstances:

1. Severe weather
2. When our partnering service packs up
3. When we don't feel safe on shift

If one of the volunteers on shift has an emergency and has to leave, unfortunately shift will have to be packed up if their leaving takes volunteer numbers below the minimum of three.

Consult with a Team Leader or experienced volunteer on shift if you're unsure whether a shift should continue.
