Troubleshooting Guide (TG)
SAFETY CALLOUTS Consider the below callouts when guiding a volunteer through the instructions | ||
Ensure no one is in the shower area before opening the rear doors to inspect the water heater red/orange light. | ||
Ensure no one is in the shower area before opening rear doors to inspect the drain. | ||
Be mindful of your footing when entering or exiting the van. Ensure you use 3 points of contact to enter or exit the van. | ||
Wastewater is a biohazard. Wear gloves to protect your hands and ensure your body is far away from the port when opening to avoid any water from splashing onto your body. | ||
When unblocking drains use appropriate PPE. |

If no, | Then | ||
Is there running water in the shower? | |||
Is the running water hot? | |||
Is the vehicle parked on a flat surface? | Park on a flat surface if possible. | ||
Is there no visible drain blockage from hair or debris? | Use PPE to unblock the drain, if comfortable to do so. | ||
Is there no body fluids/waste in the shower? | Proceed to step 2. | ||
Is the electrical system switched on? | Press the power icon on the display once to turn on the electrical system. | ||
Is the display free from faults? | |||
Step 2: Communicate next steps to volunteer | |||
