Troubleshooting Guide (TG)
SAFETY CALLOUTS Consider the below callouts when guiding a volunteer through the instructions | ||
Black smoke exhausting from the dryers for longer than 10 mins may be dangerous. If excessive smoking occurs, turn off the system and move people away from the exhaust until the smoke dissipates. |

Step 1: Identify the issue | |||
If no, | Then | ||
On the system display, is the lights icon illuminated green? | Press the lights icon on the display once, followed by the power button, to turn on the electrical system | ||
Is the dryer’s red/orange light illuminated? | |||
Is the dryer’s red/orange light free from flashes? | |||
Is the dryer’s display illuminated? | Proceed to next check | ||
Can you see if the dryer is plugged in and the powerpoint switch is turned on? | Plug in the machine and turn the powerpoint switch on | ||
On the system display, is the battery level 10% or more? | |||
Has black smoke been exhausting from the dryers for longer than 10 mins? | White/ light grey smoke is normal, especially in cold or humid weather. Continue to monitor and contact again if the issue persists. | ||
Is the drum spinning after pressing the start button? | Proceed to Step 2 | ||
Are clothes being dried sufficiently within an hour? | Longer drying times are to be expected when:
